November 1945

This web site is dedicated to our Dad, Cyril Frank Maloney who very sadly passed away at 4am on the 23rd March 2010.

After retiring from work he had started to write up his journal from the notes he had made whilst in the army during the second world war.

I am now endeavoring to bring all the pieces together from his notes  and from the things he has told me to finish the story, it is fascinating reading, an in depth view of life as a soldier in India in 1942/3 but there are a lot of details missing.

I will update the site as I unearth any details and photographs, if anybody is able to help fill in any gaps dates or have any photographs etc, or if you would just like to contact me for a chat, I would be very pleased to hear from you, please get in touch with me at keithmaloneyemail (at) gmail.com

also please visit both of my grandads website's-

and also my Grandad Maloney's brother, my Great Uncle Bill's site-
